Roy Andersson Bilbolaget on Sapphultsgatan in Mellerud is one of four sites in a family business that has grown by acquiring other family-owned dealerships and now employs 115 people. The breadth of its franchise programme is unusual: new cars from Opel, Hyundai, Subaru, Mercedes-Benz, Suzuki and Isuzu, with the workshop also authorised for Saab, Fiat and Mazda. Retained Saab authorisation is worth knowing about for anyone who owns one, since the marque is no longer built. The site houses sales, service and workshop plus a parts department, and the company is also an affiliated tyre workshop in the BestDrive network. The former Bengtsfors operation has been moved here. Departments keep separate hours: sales Monday to Friday 09:00–18:00 and Saturday 10:00–14:00, the workshop 07:00–16:30 on weekdays and the parts shop 07:00–16:00.
