Desguaces Zulueta, registered as CAT Zulueta S.L., is an Authorised Treatment Facility for end-of-life vehicles at kilometre 11.5 of the Pamplona–Huesca road, at the entrance to Zabalegui in the Elorz valley. It operates under CAT authorisation GP/21/NA/2004 and is listed as a hazardous waste handler under code 15G01088029162004, covering reception, decontamination and dismantling of scrapped vehicles. Permanent deregistration with the Spanish traffic authority is processed at no cost to the owner, and towing is free within the Pamplona area, collected from home or wherever the vehicle happens to be — useful when the car no longer runs, which is often the reason it is being scrapped. The other half of the business is used parts: a large stock of engines, gearboxes, alternators, compressors and wheels, sold with a warranty period and shipped across Spain.
