Talleres Astiz is not a conventional garage but a heavy commercial bodybuilder, with over thirty years of trading and around twenty-five staff. It sits in the Noáin-Esquíroz industrial estate a few minutes from Pamplona, with direct access to the AP-15 motorway linking Zaragoza and Tudela to the Basque Country and France. The core work is adapting vehicles for load handling: designing and building bodies for trucks and semi-trailers, fitting articulated hydraulic cranes, tippers and hooklifts, and maintaining that equipment afterwards. It is the official Palfinger and Epsilon crane distributor and installer for Navarre and Zaragoza, which brings access to the marque-specific software, technical support and full spare parts catalogue that those manufacturers restrict to appointed distributors. It also manufactures its own ANVYL high-performance scrap bodies from Hardox steel with Palfinger components. A mobile unit handles urgent repairs wherever the vehicle is — the deciding factor when a failed crane is holding up a site or a load.
