Autozon on Mariedalsvägen in Malmö is a full-service workshop covering most of what a car needs: servicing and repair, diagnostics, brakes, exhausts, cam belts and chains, clutches, steering and underbody, dampers and suspension, electrics, air conditioning, batteries, oil changes, wheel alignment, towbars, tyres and wheel changes, panel and rust work, respraying, accident repair, and chip and glass work. It also carries out pre-inspection checks. A separate strand is vehicle care: hand washing and valeting of cars, boats and motorhomes, with a stated policy of avoiding scratches from wash mitts or dirty microfibre cloths. Tyres and wheels are washed before storage. The workshop applies the Swedish Consumer Agency's repair terms, drawn up with the trade bodies SFVF and DRF — which means, among other things, that an approximate quote may not be exceeded by more than fifteen per cent or 2,000 kronor. Open weekdays nine to six; weekends by arrangement.
