Malmö Bildemo on Stenåldersgatan has been dismantling cars since 1966 and is now one of the largest vehicle dismantlers in Skåne, with over 50,000 quality-tested parts in stock. The parts come from cars the company strips itself and cover most makes — Volvo, Volkswagen, BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Toyota and Ford among them — from engines and gearboxes to headlamps, doors and body panels. The whole stock is searchable on the Bildelsbasen platform by registration, make or part number, and if you cannot find the part you can send a photo and the staff will track it down. As an authorised recycler the company handles deregistration with the transport agency. Scrap vehicles are collected free within Malmö even if they do not start, with a price offer within 24 hours against the registration number and payment by Swish the same day. One thing worth knowing: the company does not take phone calls and directs all contact to chat and email.
