Ekebäcks Motor on Fotögatan in Majorna has serviced and repaired cars since 1984 and is affiliated to Autoexperten. It takes any car regardless of make, model or drivetrain, and beyond passenger cars also vans, motorhomes and microcars. It is the authorised Ligier microcar workshop in Gothenburg — a niche few workshops cover, and a relevant one since microcars are driven by teenagers from fifteen and have their own service intervals. Work covers servicing, repairs, diagnostics, air conditioning, bodywork, wheel alignment, tyre fitting, windscreen replacement and chip repair, and the workshop handles insurance claims. It is certified under Godkänd Bilverkstad, meaning its quality, environmental and safety practice is audited by an independent third party. In 2024 the company opened a branch in Västra Hisingen. Cars are dropped off between seven and nine in the morning on the booked date, and the workshop calls when the job is done. Open Monday to Thursday 07:00–16:30 and Friday 07:00–15:00.
