Bilskadecenter i Enköping on Myrangatan was started in 1974 on a small scale by Sven Hivén with two staff and is now run by the next generation with 39 employees. The company describes itself as one of Sweden's largest accident repair centres. It began with paintwork alone and has since built up the skills, equipment and premises to handle essentially any kind of damage repair on almost any model. The bodyshop is approved by the insurers If Märkesförsäkring, Länsförsäkringar, Folksam and Trygg-Hansa, and the company is a certified Skadespecialist. Since 2015 it has also been an authorised service partner for BMW and MINI, meaning it carries out routine servicing and repairs for those marques alongside damage work. One speciality few workshops offer is plastic repair on caravans, horse boxes and motorhomes — damage to plastic sections that otherwise usually means replacing the whole panel. Open Monday to Thursday 07:00–16:30 and Friday 07:00–15:00.
